While this photo doesn't make me feel strong emotion, the motorcycle did make me stop and take a picture of it. What made me stop was the windshield's rainbow-y chrome tint. The reason why I submitted this photo for this assignment is it made me think about how powerful and versatile light is when mixed with other mediums. How light hits this windshield and suddenly it goes from blue to rainbow. Light hits a black car and suddenly hits of silver explode from within the paint. On a rainy day sunlight flings rainbows across the stormy skies. This motorcycle made me make a deeper connection from what we discussed in class: light reveals. Light can reveal the extraordinary within the seemingly mundane. Light made me pause on my walk home to take a picture of a motorcycle.
