Every time I look up at the sky and see clouds now, I try to see if they look lavender to me. Like we talked about in class, I am very aware that grey light does not exist so clouds can't possibly be grey or have gray shadows, but I still cannot see the shades of lavender. Thinking about light (not specifically lighting a stage or set or architecture, just plain light) is becoming more and more prominent in my day to day life and I find myself observing and dissecting the light in various places throughout my day. This class has also started to get my wheels turning on how to recreate these naturally occurring light events and moods that light evokes, in a theatrical setting, especially for dance.
Careful, it will consume you :). I do see lavender ion the darker clouds, it just takes a while to see it as such. Nice post and so glad you are seeing light so much more :)
