It is Tech Week for Dance Visions! And the lights surrounding the mirrors in the stage management office feel harsh. The lights are at a lower Kalvin temperature which should make the room more warm but they still feel annoying. The abundance of light in such a concentrated space is overwhelming. Especially with the lack of sleep and working for almost 10 hours. The glaze is constantly getting in my eyes keeping me awake and seeming so drastically dull compared to the theatrical lighting i have been surrounded by for the last four days. Making this "world" almost unbearable.
Great comparison to what you find onstage and what you see in this office. The color temperature of those lights are particularly harsh. Nice post.
